Local Rules


  • Where a boundary or protection fence interferes with a swing, the ball may be lifted and dropped, within one club length, not nearer the hole, without penalty (Rule 24-2)
  • Wheel tracks may be treated as GUR
  • Ditches and drains are to be treated as "water hazards" defined by red pegs (Rule 26) otherwise play the ball as it lies.
  • A ball landing on the wrong green MUST be lifted and dropped, within one club length of the green, not nearer the hole without penalty.
  • One club length relief from staked trees if interfering with the swing
  • A ball coming to rest on any "man-made" path or garden MUST be lifted and dropped, within one club length, not nearer the hole without penalty
  • Any person not adhering to given instruction will be asked to cease play without refund.
  • 100 metre markers are to centre of green
